Premium coal is scarce in auctions
Most Indian auctioned blocks carry lower-grade coal. Grades above G6 exist only in very small quantities — which makes a fully explored G6 block with a defined 1.26 MTPA peak rated capacity a genuinely rare asset.
At 5,500–5,800 kcal/kg, this coal commands premium pricing from cement kilns, sponge-iron and steel plants, and captive power users — and it is the ideal feedstock for coal gasification under the national mission.

Location & access
Lat 22°12'58"–22°14'47" N, Long 78°47'5"–78°51'8" E. Approached by a metal road off SH-19, 1 km east of Parasia town; Parasia is the nearest railhead.
Site conditions
Rainfall 1,200–1,500 mm; temperatures 8–40 °C. The perennial Pench river and Devrani river flow through the block; general strike E–W to ENE–WSW with 35 interpreted faults (throw 5–150 m).
Clear title path
No CBA land overlap per the PM Gati Shakti portal; ~25% green cover; approx. 12.2 km from the Panchmarhi Biosphere at the north-western boundary. Prior allocatee: SKS Ispat Limited.
